Transmisibility

Transmissibility means the oxygen permeability of a particular contact lenses.

Indicates the material's ability to transmit gas to the central membrane thickness. This quantity is called Dk / L. The values given for soft contact lenses are between 6–8 Dk / L, while for silicone hydrogel 150 Dk / L.
