How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Can the lenjoy be worn instead of softlens?

The Lenjoy come in the same base curve and diameter as the SofLens 38 so they might be a suitable alternative.
We cannot, however, guarantee that thus we recommend a consultation with an optician before switching to a new brand of lenses.

Hi, what odes that mean extended wear? How long can I wear the most? 18 hour? What does that mean night? Can I sleep without this contact lenses out?

Dear customer,
'Extended wear' is somewhat of a nebulous term indeed! In practice, it means you can sleep without removing these contact lenses (possibly for more than one night in a row as well), however it is always recommended to remove them periodically for rehydration and cleaning, and of course if they start to become uncomfortable during wear and irritate your eyes.

Hi my old lenses have been discounted, they were 8.4 base curve and 13.8 diameter would these be a suitable alternative

When you say these lenses can be worn for 30 days and 29 nights does that mean they can be left in continuously for that amount of time without removing them for cleaning.

These lenses are made to be worn continuously for 30 days and 29 nights. However, we recommend taking the lenses out for the night once per week to let them hydrate in the solution. We also recommend consulting with your doctor regarding the prolonged wear of the lenses.

After years for the first time i ordered Lenjoy lenses instead of my usual Cooper Vision as it was advertised that it has better oxigen transmission. For me they are unconfortable, i thought it’s the first pair which has problem and opened the 2nd pair, but i have the same issue with it as with the 1st pair of lenses. They seem bigger and thicker than my usual brand and i can continously feel them on my eyes. Usually i can wear my lenses without any problem all day and and even evening, but now i am rubbing my eyes after few hours and wish to remove the lenses early afternoon… It wasn’t a good choice for me , i just ordered my usual Cooper Vision again.

Cheap rubbish! Far too soft, do not hold their shape, even blinking can cause one to move and irritate. Even worse, 3 times one has simply crumpled and folded in my eye, and got stuck under my eyelid! On one occasion I had to go to the hospital A&E department to get it removed and it badly scratched and cut my eyeball! Also 2 lenses just disappeared! Fell out, was flushed out by normal eye moisture, but I didn't even notice it go. Tried them because they were 50% cheaper than my normal monthlies. Never again. You get what you pay for, and these are cheap, poor quality, rubbish!
