UVtech is a Czech brand focused on products for sleep hygiene and protection against artificial light. UVtech mainly specializes in blue- and green-light blocking glasses, which help improve eye health and sleep patterns by reducing the effects of artificial lights and digital screens. These glasses are made to minimize eye strain and provide greater comfort when working, studying, or using digital devices, particularly in the evening.
UVtech glasses are designed to protect against blue light and, depending on the lens type, also reduce the transmission of green light to varying degrees.
- Red lenses – The highest level of protection, filtering up to 100% of blue and green light. Glasses with red lenses are recommended for use 1.5 hours before bedtime to support the body’s natural melatonin production.
- Orange lenses – Block up to 100% of blue light and up to 80% of green light. Ideal for evening screen use or watching TV due to their lower colour distortion. Glasses with orange lenses are designed to be worn 1.5 hours before bedtime.
- Yellow lenses – Filter up to 80% of blue light and are suitable for both daytime and evening computer use to reduce eye strain. Their main advantage is minimal colour distortion.
UVtech Sleep-3R with orange lenses are unisex computer glasses.
