HPMC (Hydroxypropyl methylcelulosa)

HPMC (Hydroxypropyl methylcelulosa) is a moisturising component included in the contact lens blister solution in which contact lenses are stored. This means it starts working straight after you put your lens in. The HPMC component allows for better comfort after you’ve put a new lens in for the first time. This lubricant is used mostly with Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts.
