Contraindication
Cases where wearing contact lenses may become dangerous. Contact lenses should not be used during acute inflammation of cornea, conjunctiva, sclera, and eyelids edges. Other contraindications are certain types of eye injury, low corneal sensitivity, problems with the valve of the tear duct, if suffering from disorders such as tear film, dry eye syndrome, or during the use of ophthalmic medications, hormonal contraceptives, antidepressants, neuroleptics, and medication for allergic reactions.
