How to select parameters?
Power (PWR/SPH)
Power or sphere refers to the refractive power of the contact lens. Look for a plus (+) or minus (-) sign. Note that an equals sign (=) may be used in place of a minus sign.
- dioptres are for problems with near vision (far-sightedness)
+ dioptres are for problems with distance vision (near-sightedness)
Curvature (BC)
The base curve describes the curvature of the contact lens surface, i.e. how well the lens fits the shape of your eye.
Diameter (DIA)
The diameter is the width of the contact lens (measured in millimeters). It is not recommended to select a new diameter size without first consulting your optician. Diameter impacts the fit, comfort and functionality of your lenses.
Cylinder (CYL)
The cylinder measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. It is a negative value that corrects curvature of the cornea.
Cylinder Axis (AX)
The cylinder axis measurement is used for the correction of astigmatism. The value ranges from 0° - 180° and determines the exact position of corneal curvature.
Addition (ADD)
Addition is the difference between the dioptric value for distance vision and the dioptric value for near vision. It indicates the magnifying power in multifocal lenses.

Monthly contact lenses designed to combat dry eye symptoms and increase comfort levels. Extreme H2O’s unique material helps them maintain constant lens humidity and high oxygenation throughout the day. Base Curve (BC) is referred to as ‘MED’ on packaging.
Conversion as follows:
Diameter 13.6 = BC 8.3
Diameter 14.2 = BC 8.6
The production of lenses with certain parameters has been terminated. It is therefore not possible to order the parameters which are not shown.

The BC on these lenses can be either 8.3 or 8.6.
Sadly, I am not quite sure what ''MED'' could stand for in this case.
Could you please double-check if you see a marking stating 8.3 or 8.6 somewhere on the pack that you have with you?

Hi,
These lenses come with BC 8.3 or 8.6. They are not produced with
BC 8.4.
If you need exactly 8.4 BC, this is the link for the monthly spheric lenses

BC 8.3.
