Details of Acuvue Oasys with Transitions (6 lenses)
Acuvue Oasys with Transitions by Johnson & Johnson are the first contact lenses that automatically adapt to changing light conditions in order to provide excellent vision and comfort all day long.
The biweekly contact lenses impress with their integrated Transitions Light Intelligent Technology which quickly and easily reduces the stress caused by indoor and outdoor light. The technology also includes a blue light and UV filter.
Acuvue Oasys with Transitions contact lenses contain billions of photochromic molecules that can make the lenses to appear clear, dark, or partially darkened. They react outdoors when exposed to UV radiation as well as indoors. The lenses have been specially designed to minimize changes in the appearance of the eyes, so in most situations, contact lenses are not in the darkest version.
The advantages of Acuvue Oasys with Transitions:
- the lenses reduce the intensity of disruptive starbursts at night and guarantee clear and sharp vision
- they decrease the stress for the eyes
- they help your eyes adapt to bright light up to five seconds faster
- they were designed to offer the highest possible level of protection against UV radiation that contact lenses can offer
- they adapt to the demanding lighting conditions of sports, work or television
- the photochromic technology is not part of the lens surface, but is applied directly into the material of the entire lens
Did you know that the Acuvue Oasys with Transitions Light Intelligent Technology were awarded by Time Magazine as one of the best inventions of 2018?
In addition, the silicone hydrogel lenses are tinted light blue for easier application, have an inside-out indicator and a first category UV filter that blocks up to 99% UVA and 100% UVB radiation. The UV filter protects the cornea from dangerous ultraviolet radiation.
Since contact lenses do not cover the entire eye area, the combination of contact lenses with sunglasses provides ideal protection against harmful UV rays.
Acuvue Oasys with Transitions contact lenses have been discontinued. The only versions available are the ones currently in stock. Users of Acuvue Oasys with Transitions contacts can start using the Acuvue Oasys lenses. Due to the different parameters, we recommend consulting an ophthalmologist about the new contact lenses.
Customers who bought these lenses also bought Vantio Multi-Purpose 360 ml with case.

Hey there,
I understand that these lenses are no longer available in the plus parameters but do you think you will ever get them back? It's a real shame if they don't come back in stock as they really helped me and now struggling to find more or less the same as these.
Kind Regards,

I currently wear monthly lenses that I can sleep with in and only really need to take them out once a week is this still possible with Acuvue Oasys?
-
Reply
As this product is not marked as suitable for 'extended wear' by the manufacturer (this is a function highly dependent on oxygen permeability, and thus hygiene), it is not recommended they be worn continuously for that amount of time.
It would be our suggestion to search for similar products that are marked as suitable by the manufacturer, such as 'Air Optix Night & Day', 'Lenjoy Night & Day', the 'Biofinity' range, etc.

How to choose power when my eyes are plano
-
Reply
Dear customer,
Excellent question! Unfortunately, this item is not produced and stocked in plano yet. You can, however, purchase normal Acuvue (if intended for post-surgery protection), or coloured lenses in plano instead (https://www.lentiamo.co.uk/coloured-contact-lenses.html)

On my box it says D +0.25 max add +1.75 Mid do I order +1.75? I want to order 2 weekly multifocal oasys . The 2 numbers are confusing me

Reply
Dear customer,
The prescription you have refers to multifocal lenses.
Based on your description, we believe that the product you are looking for is the Acuvue Oasys lenses for Presbyopia (https://www.lentiamo.co.uk/acuvue-oasys-for-presbyopia.html) , and you should input +0.25 under 'Power', and 'Medium' for the Addition correction.
However, in order to be certain, please feel free to email us your prescription at info@lentiamo.co.uk .

I have been using the topic lenses for astigmatism. I also have albinism, so transition lenses sound good.... but if they are not similar for adtigatidm, am I best to stick with tonic lenses, or do acuvue also do tonic with transitions.
