Monovision

Monovision is a method of vision correction when a spherical contact lens for distance vision is applied on one eye while the other eye has a spherical contact lens for short vision. After a period of acclimatization the brain automatically switches to the eye that has seen a sharply-focused object.

This technique works better than the use of bifocal contact lenses. Users initially tend to have slightly blurred vision, dizziness, headache, or a feeling off-balance.
